Dean Graves is an artist, designer and businessman. Mentored by Tom Vroman, Dean has garnered several awards for design and has been published in the Book of American Trademarks. His clients cross industry lines from health care, information technology to retail and consumer products. His client experience includes CBS Sportsline, PSCU Financial Services, Sheraton Sand Key Resort, Meadow Burke, Glovemate Sports, Foundation of St. Joseph’s Hospital and the New York Yankees.
Dean was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and began a career in design in 1981.
Dean's commissioned works include an edition of prints for Ducks Unlimited, illustration for Pennsylvania Wildlife and the redesign of the Challenger specialty license plate for the Astronauts Memorial Foundation and the State of Florida.
A graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, Dean began his career in 1981 as a graphic artist for Whirley Industry, an advertising specialty company. He later accepted a position with Thomas Vroman Associates, where he gained extensive experience in photography, sales, marketing communications and publication design.
In 1986, Dean joined Price Waterhouse as manager of marketing communications. While at Price Waterhouse, Dean designed and produced multimedia marketing programs for the world firm and the national practice, developed a top-rated advertising campaign for the manufacturing practice, developed a niche marketing strategy for the information systems Re-engineering Center and developed the corporate image and communication program for the Applied Technology Center.
Dean volunteers much of his time to his church, the Hillsborough Education Foundation and as a Director on the Board at Brandon Sports & Aquatic Center.
A Florida resident for more than 15 years, Dean lives in Tampa with his wife, Melanie, and their two children.
